Easy to drill, You Need Golden-drill

Drill serves as the cornerstone of the machinery industry, and in China, the world’s largest industrial nation, generations of Chinese engineers and technicians have been dedicated to the evolution of drill. In 1953, a diligent Chinese worker Ni Zhifu innovated a new type of drill, which was called as Ni Zhifu drill or Chinese Multiface Drill. During that time, this drill marked a pivotal breakthrough in the industry. Since then, it has undergone continuous improvement by experts, and one of those experts is Professor Hu.

Professor Hu Sijie

Hu Sijie, from Shaoyang, Hunan, is a professor at Hunan University and the head of the Shenzhen Research and Development Center of the National High-Efficiency Grinding Engineering Technology Research Center. He is recognized as a leading expert in the field of mechanical engineering and CNC technology for drilling and grinding in China. Professor Hu is also the key developer of China’s first five-axis CNC Crown Drilling tip grinding machine. In 2004, he was awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award in the machinery industry and the Science and Technology Progress Award in Hunan Province. In 2005, he was invited to establish the research and development center in Shenzhen.

Interview with Professor Hu

In 2019, Professor Hu led the establishment of Zhongke Golden-drill (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd, aiming to put research achievements into market practices. The company is currently focused on the research, production, and sales of seven-blade Crown Drill, the latest type of Chinese Multiface drill.
